Optimizing energy systems: Scalable support for Veni Energy Group

Veni Energy Group, a leading energy services provider across the Nordics and in other parts of Europe, aimed to align its business and IT processes and was seeking a new partner for the support, maintenance, and continuous development of the Fingrid Datahub data interface integration in the Finnish market.
The collaboration with Fluentia brought Veni Energy structure, stability and local understanding.
The need for which a solution was sought
A vast amount of data – electricity usage sites metadata, customer data, authorization data and metering data – is transferred from Fingrid Datahub to Veni Energy’s datahub 24/7 for their daily operations. Therefore, it is of utmost importance to ensure the reliability and maintainability of the gateway connecting Fingrid Datahub to Veni Energy’s internal systems.
Veni Energy also recognized the continuous development of their data hub as equally vital for improving and optimizing daily operations, emphasizing the importance of a flexible, experienced, and responsive partner – one capable of providing day-to-day support while also future-proofing the integration and internal user interface.
Our solution
We introduced Veni Energy our Fluentia Care model – an adaptive support and development service that combines structured processes with flexibility and continuous improvement.
Key elements of the solution include:
- Structured takeover: A carefully planned takeover process, leveraging code analysis and AI tools to ensure a smooth transition, streamline documentation and assess opportunities for optimization.
- Onboarding workshops: Joint workshops to align understanding and define key development and support areas.
- End-to-end monitoring: Setup of robust development and monitoring environments, supporting proactive risk management.
- Flexible resourcing and development: Scalable support and maintenance tailored to business needs, ensuring system reliability.
- Future development planning: Strategic enhancements, such as improving graphical user interface usability and exploring future-ready infrastructure options.
This approach was designed to support long-term operational health while enabling continuous development.
Cooperation
The collaboration between Fluentia and Veni Energy is grounded in shared goals, open communication, and a mutual drive for continued improvement.
The structured takeover process ensured a smooth transition, providing the necessary continuity while setting the stage for further development. Regular cooperation meetings have helped both teams stay aligned, enabling them to respond quickly to changing needs and prioritize improvements effectively. With a scalable support model in place, Veni Energy can rely on consistent system performance while also exploring future enhancements in a proactive and agile manner.
"With Fluentia, we're not just maintaining our systems – we're improving them together. Their ability to understand our needs and act quickly has been essential to our success", says Cornelius Vaage-Gnilka, Chief Digital Officer of Veni Energy Group in Norway.
